EditStudio 6 - Problem with Capture

Hi all.
Hoping you can help with this one.
I upgraded to Windows 7 last year and when I (re)installed my EditStudio 5, I found that the application didn't seem to recognise my DV Camera. In the end I captured the video in analogue format as i needed to get on with the work I was doing. I then had to split the video up into scenes manually. (Tedious!)
Anyway, I bought EditStudio 6 and am now needing to capture video again. However, when I plug my camera in (using Firewire), although the PC immediately recognises the device as a DV Camera and issues a pop-up asking if I want to use other applications to capture video, EditStudio says there are no DV Camcorders found when I go to FIle => Capture Video.
Any ideas what I'm dong wrong, anyone?
