Hi - Ran into an issue with Symantec's latest update (10Sep2012) - applied your fix and it cleared the false positive from them specifically when scanning using virustotal.com. Still seeing one from 'TheHacker'. Please advise.

Thanks,
DreamSync

Edit: as of 12 noon Eastern the Symantec EndPoint Protection 11 running on my PC is still identifying that start.exe file created with MMB as a Trojan even with the new bin files and recommended compilation settings.

Hey Delboy,

do you see any way to add an admin manifest to a compiled MMB project?

Code: Select all
  <trustInfo xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v2">
    <security>
      <requestedPrivileges>
        <requestedExecutionLevel
          level="requireAdministrator"
          uiAccess="false"/>
      </requestedPrivileges>
    </security>
  </trustInfo>

MMB binaries allready have a manifest (Resource 24#1), thats why a .manifest file is ignored.
