Pictures to practice with.

Postby lylejk » Sat Nov 20, 2010 2:25 pm

Forgot the name of the thread on the old forum, but am surprised one hasn't been started here. Thought I would start things off with this picture that I took at the park when my brother, his boys, and I were celebrating my Dad's birthday.

Original (SOOC):

My edit using Feathers AOP (2 passes for some selective details in certain areas) and a few GIMPy tricks. :)

Thanks for the play Lyle.

Some pre-DAP mods, including running it through a "Kaleidescope" filter and color modifications. Then I used a variation of my Funky Feathers AOP previously posted. Would make a good kitchen potholder.

You both only improved the look of this ugly goose. Like them both. :)

Thought I throw one up for all to play with. This is the same image I used to play with Roc's new Colourful & Landscape2 AOPs

Played with it and the Realism AOP with additional processing in PSPv9

How dare you say that sweet and charming little goose is ugly?

The Not Dali AOPs have palettes taken from Dali paintings but nothing else, thus the name.
I increased the saturation a bit on the image using DAP but otherwise everything is default.

Dale: your Non Dali AOP looks interesting - do we get to play with it?

Roc: I love your new AOPs - I'm trying all my fav pics with it. Even portaits are possible with a portrait mask...

Thanks for your comment about my recent creations, Wutz!
