Thanks Peter. Apparently SkyDrive has changed how they've done things since I last used them. I don't like how you have to see the whole directlory and scroll, but I'm not going to re-upload all my aops to Ubuntu-one so click the link below, then click on the scripts icon and then peruse til you see ptoss.zip and download that file. I do have to say that I also used Thickness Map export very creatively to add depth/position effects to the render and it's just too complicated to explain, but ptoss itself is pretty cool. Need to use a solid black canvas (just create a some black box and save it as black.jpg and place the file in your canvas directory) for best effect.

Great, thank you , I am trying Picasso. One question though, the scripts are for Photoshop or DAP, because i do not know how to load them in DAP if they are for it. Thanks again.

The directory points to all kinds of files unfortunately Peter (hate what SkyDrive's done and don't know a work-a-round). Many of the zipped files are aops but there wasn't an installer at the time that many of these were created. If you open the zip file and it has a .aop file in it, you need to place these files in your objectpacks directory (the old school way of installing presets; still works).

I can't post image here since the original target isn't mine to share, but did post another tossed paint render at the Inn that I liked the result; used greyscale palette for this one.

I can not say I am crazy about this picture or what this AOP does for portraits per se. However I do notice some heavy knife like textures, than might help one emulate that oil knife painting, and I am willing to give it a try. Where can i download this AOP? Thanks.

See the skydrive link above. The aop is called ptoss. Place these files in the appropriate directory. I've actually used this preset on canvas texture and it can be effect with that too, but like to create the 3D explosion look with this preset.
