Remove unwanted objects from a source image inside DAP5

Postby tartine78 » Thu Dec 28, 2017 4:35 pm

Hello,

as explain in the thread thanks to Peter-GZ for his help.

I think i found a way to overcome the lack of tool to remove unwanted object on the source image directly into DAP5

here is how:

1. Open your source image as usual

2. go to retouch tab

3. click on "input photo brush (prep)

and pant the canvas to let appear your source image

4. use the best settings to recover all your canvas
be sure to change the setting to 100% opacity (not as shown below ;)

5. Now you have access to your "source image" in full canvas

6. You can now use the clone tool to remove unwanted objects

7. now that retouch is done you can click on "apply"

8. Go to "painter" tab
9. uncheck "clear canvas on start"

10. you can now begin the dap process as usual.

Does the ".pal" file contain the colours and brushes paletts
If so how can I convert the .pal file back to a jpg file (for modification)

You need a utility to extract the 2 jpegs from the AOP (one is the colour palette the other the brushes). There are a few free ones you can find via Google.
