Postby Eriramos » Mon May 13, 2019 10:42 am

Gentlemen, could you help me?
A simple play that perform a list of mp3 songs. During execution the CPU reaches the maximum load and process hangs.

SongListReset()
ListBoxAddItem("SongList","RESET")
SongListLoad("Todos os cds.m3l","txt")
SongListTime()
SongListRND()
SongListPlay("")

Thank you
Eriramos

The problem was solved. apparently the license for running MP3 audios was not working properly. I switched to "OGG" and no more crash occurred.

Can anybody help me?
I thought I had solved the problem by changing the format of the MP3 audio to OGG, the same problem occurred again. After running some audio tracks the program locks with auto index memory.

Please upload a minimal sample reproducing the problem, there's too much things in your .mbd file.

Well, I've downloaded it, compiled and can not reproduce your problem. It plays mp3 without high CPU usage. The only bad thing I see is that there's a button "Search CD" wich will be active even there's no CD drive present. In this case <CD> path macro will return '\' and I don't know how it will interpret SearchForFiles command.

Thank you Dgilmour for the attention!

I have a list of MP3s in a directory. Called by the command (SongListLoad ("<SrcDir> \ All cds.txt", "txt") starts running normally, after a certain time the project hangs with a large CPU usage.
In the previous image of 196 tracks, when it arrived on track 5 caught. image of the task manager.

command (SongListLoad ("<SrcDir> \ All cds.txt", "txt")
The quoted command and page properties.

Can you reproduce it on another machine?

Yes, I already did this on my laptop and on the desktop all with Windows 10. I compiled with mmb V 4.9.8.13 with my MMB license, and also with MMB 64
I am suspicious of the MMB running on Windos. I have used MMB since 2012 and have never had this problem.

Your problem most probably has the same origin as this one (not resolved) viewtopic.php?f=17&t=192

Bad thing about it is that I can't reproduce it to investigate what causes hangs. And even worse it might require to change MMB code to eliminate the problem, but I have no access to it.

Yes, exactly the same problem. I ran into another notebook that had no reference to the MMB, there was no reported crash, but stopped running the mp3 tracks.
Many thanks dgilmour
