AVisynth script import into ES6 footage

Postby Taller » Sun Jan 08, 2012 5:17 am

Is it possible to create AVisynth import plugin using ES SDK 2.0 in order to insert video of unsupported MKV, MP4, H264 AVC format? (installed QuickTime 7.3 and ffdshow doesn't help much in most cases ).
Tnanks in advance.

Have you tried using the MakeAVIS application (included with ffDshow) to create a dummy AVI from the script that you can insert into ES?

Thanks a lot for the hint. MakeAVIS did the job - now even heavy 4 Gb MKV can be easily rendered in ES6.

Having trouble using MakeAVIS

The AVI is playable in every program other and looks just fine.

When I drag it into ES6, only "audio" portion of it is recognized, not video. I.e. I can then drag it into an audio track on my timeline, but not the video. Any hints?

I am using an AVS that uses FFMpegSource2 calls to render my H264 MOV file from a Canon camera. There is a .ffindex file in the same folder as my MOVs.

EDIT: NEVERMIND. Disregard this post (for now). I discovered that I have a deeper underlying problem. ANY video file is not working in the same manner. Not sure why. Will post in a separate thread.
