Still toying with a cool trick that adds 3 dimension depth to stacks such as these Sweethearts. It uses G'MIC's Tonemap preset and some play with the sliders. I created a soft-focus preset using G'MIC's Tonemapping and it's pretty much at these settings. Now grab a handful of these. I promise you that these won't cause cavities or get you fat. lol

I have often thought that we should have a separate thread for what I call Novelty AOPs, like the hearts AOP and the Feather AOP and an AOP I made from parts of a tattoo on a lovely young lady's shoulder.

Look forward to seeing your results Dale. Since I've been on a candy binge, why not some bon-bons too. :)

Additional cool tips w.r.t. object filling.

Postby lylejk » Wed Jan 25, 2012 1:09 am

Only recently (like earlier today) found this out. Have issues with detail vs. fill with object AOPs (see the beer aop post here). Well, a 2 pass solution dramatically improves both outline and fill. I first start the AOP with Outline set to max and high precision. I then clear the Clear Canvas on Start option since I want to do a second pass and I set the Outline to minimum and lower the precison (no need for precision for the fill). Below (with a few GIMP/G'MIC enhancements) is the new and improved result. :)
