Re: What Start Sector is used in 2.5.2?
DVD Lab Pro fails to calculate menu size or first play clips when calculating suitable layer break region I never set a layer break in DLP but simply make sure I have an unlinked (dummy) chapter point near the start of the blue area and before the blue area to allow for varying menu sizes, eg. motio...

Re: First Play wrong function
try on a DVD player that has not seen your DVD before
many players have a function that remembers what you already viewed
also, you should shift the first play movie to position1 and not 39 (change order of items)

Re: Urgent help please. DVD will not play in VLC
no, Nero can't make great DVD DVD Lab Pro makes the best ones, they play in all DVD and Blu-ray players if burned the correct way with ImgBurn or Nero Burning Rom also, be sure you burn to DVD-R and never to DVD+R for single layer disks and never burn at max speed, if disk is rated at 16x burn at 8x...

Re: Urgent help please. DVD will not play in VLC
keep in mind that VLC player is not a DVD player
wheras PowerDVD and Total Media Theater (no longer for sale) are
if your DVD has any issue, a Blu-ray or DVD player will be the first to complain and fail

Re: Urgent help please. DVD will not play in VLC
does the DVD work normal with a DVD player or Blu-ray player?
it could be just an issue with your VLC player. I don't use it
for testing DVD menus prior to burning, I use Total Media Theatre
Power DVD will also work

Re: Urgent help please. DVD will not play in VLC
sounds like one of your burners is faulty
I use Nero Burning Rom 12 daily to burn multiple copies, no issues
on another PC I have Burning Rom 16 and it also works fine
make sure you choose the "DVD Video" Template for correct DVD
