Re: Members' Paintings

Laras_Pond_snow_HALF_Vinny_LugiPaint.jpg That's great - different - I like the way the yellow strokes are acting as outlines. It kind of gives a halo effect to the branches and leaves, pulling them up and out of the image. If that was the intent - WELL DONE. if it's an accident then it's brilliant ...

Re: my son

My beloved first born child, Rob, who died July 2014. He was 48 and dearly missed . Just going on body (face) language - he looks like the sort of guy who'd help anyone and be happy-go-lucky even under stress. We all have to go... but 48 is too young, only half a life used... so many things u...

Re: colorful mask

same remix, moved detail brush to the right after 15,000 strokes, also moved to wet before starting painting. Stopped the painting after 18,000 strokes. Did no post processing. That one has a lot better stroke layout around the mouth and other flat-colour areas. It's actually looking pretty good!

Re: Post your AOPs here.

Trying out the new FluffyBush. It id not stop after the 30k strokes, I had to manually stop it. Thanks Fluffbutt. I don't know why - it stops after 29 999 strokes for me. Are you using the new DAP4, the "update", where the non-stop wqas moved over to the right? I'm still on the older version, I don...

Re: Post your AOPs here.

I prefer the wet one, but dry has its merits - it's almost Van Gogh-ish on leaves and small details.

Re: Post your AOPs here.

I've made a modification to Lugis Newbrush style - it keeps his bold punchy strokes for the "surface" things but has a watery sub structure to the image. This was settings as is: http://i.imgbox.com/pSKVJuOS.jpg File: http://wikisend.com/download/561730/FluffyBrush.dpk This is settings changed - dry...

Now.. that's a pity. It's very nice.

I love the way the black thin strokes have followed the brick joins - outlines without using outlines.

Re: Please add a fullscreen edit view

Zooming or 100% views of the painting area is one of the things I added to the wish-list thread.
