Re: i am very sad

As stated above, it is still very powerful and works in all Windows releases!

Be thankful :)

Also, the following on here is still significant for a legacy program.

I'm sure MMB has plenty of life in it still!

Re: why Multimedia builder doesn't update?

It really is an amazing program.

You can get around just about anything, as DelBoy suggests above.

It's a shame that its legacyware, but it remains a powerhouse of potential still!

Cheers Delboy... that`s interesting to know.

Everything is externally referenced really, so it`s all good.

Re: Scrip timers and the 999 rule... names?

OK..thanks for the input both!

You`d be surprised how complex my projects are :)

Three years work on a complex networked system with 1500 timers.

There are around 300 pages in the main application.

My early testing seems to be showing inconsistency. Somet...

Re: Send Message To Computers On Same Network

The checking of text files for changes method is spot on! I`ve worked with this for some years, on now very complex networked applications. Works like a charm. Just ensure that you don`t get any script access collisions when it gets busy...best to have many different files. This avoids error messages.

A Quick one! What`s the error here..

So, I`m wanting to read a text file and then just pass it`s content to another text file. Should be easy!!!? -Right?! I`ve read in value1.txt and placed the content into a variable (C$) But, when I use this code to write to value2.txt it doesn`t write the content: file$='c:\temp\value2.txt' string$=...
