Re: Whitebalance experiment (WIP)

Oh my :) I hadn't made it that far :) I missed the difference between the preview and the export, but yes you're right; the hot-pixel error seem to go away on the exported image. until... I ran tests on a number of other images... The error can be made to appear on exported images, but only on those...

Re: Whitebalance experiment (WIP)

Could you post a larger size of the test image. Included (had to recompress it a bit to get below a megabyte) Actually, you are programming in a CPP code. There are not too many differences between what you are doing and what I am doing. The difference between you and I, Andy, is that I have almost...

Re: Whitebalance experiment (WIP)

Here's an example-image showing the current status of the script. The original image is on the left (Very yellow/orange in tone. It was taken without flash at night under what I guess is a sodium street-light. Camera was on auto-WB. The blue sky-color is accurate, so a classic 'nightmare-to-whitebal...

Whitebalance experiment (WIP)

I tried to see if I could change Oscar's "Gaussian redistribution of histogram" code into one that whitebalances the red and blue channel after the green. It doesn't quite work yet, because I have virtually NO clue about what I'm doing in CPP  Anyway, the idea is to get the averages of the 3 c...

Re: Share Your Flows Here:

An experiment with color-channels, where I was trying out different methods of channel-filtering.

It has 3 outputs.

Re: HUE vs 8bit

Thank you very much! :) I just did some tests with your script, and was able to create a HUE-spread that clamped on to the 6 main colors. VERY nice to be able to do it in a script like this! The previous work I did to do this HUE-control was a massive (and very involved) flow (and I wasn't able to g...

Re: HUE vs 8bit

PhotoReactor has taught me more about digital image work than any previous software I've used :) I really do think it's the best (and most fun to explore possibilities in) image-editor I've ever used :) (And the launch-time is quicker than anything! From clicking the icon until it's open and ready; ...

Re: HUE vs 8bit

Hi Andy :) The color-selector in PR (if you use, for example, the generator-node and choose 'solid color') only allows 256 discrete values for the HUE-input (as well as for SAT and LUMA). It doesn't make its selection in degrees (which would be 360 discrete values) And if I set up a flow with HSL or...
