Re: Watermark a DVD

I seem to recall something about watermarks too.
I'll dig deeply into my archives & see what I can find here....it would be VERY useful for test discs

Strange errors in Video_TS (during verification at label)

Just got this in from Japan. The disc works, and the initial complaint was "we cannot play the DTS stream over HDMI" to which I asked them to check the HDMI was actually set correctly for multichannel operation. What I got back were the following documents for things I frankly do not understand, and...

Re: Dual Layer troubles

DL Burns never an issue for me either, again with Verbatim DVD+R DL media & Pioneer burner.
Never, ever set Layer Break in DLP.

Re: menu/links

Personally, I use separate BMP files for main menu background and 2-bit indexed TIFF files for SPHL files.
Used to use PSD, but it's frankly a lot simpler for me to use individual screens.

Re: 23.976 fps encodes play at incorrect speed when authored

Hey Larry. Update from this end - CCE-SP3 does not output a file that DLP seems to like! Even though the file plays fine in a Media Player, it looks terrible when compiled in DLP - looks like a really bad day at the field order office.... Yet the exact same source when encoded with MainConcept encod...

Depending on the length of the film or clip, you may be able to duplicate the footage and add another 8 subs to the copy.....

Re: Bugfixes still needed....

That's a real shame. I'd happily pay to have these fixed, I must say. Right now, I can still create the vast majority of my Video_TS Zones for DVD-A with DLP, and don;t get me wrong I am very, very grateful to Oscar for writing in stuff like the non abstraction layer compiling, the slideshows with m...

Re: Can DLP work with 24p files in NTSC projects?

I'll definitely do this. However, I reckon it is Pilot Error on my part in CCE-SP3. I ran the same material using the EXPORT function out of PPro CS5.5, which bypasses the AME & uses the inbuilt MainConcept encoder. Set to match project/source settings & tweaked bitrate to a 6k CBR, and this has wor...

Re: Can DLP work with 24p files in NTSC projects?

I'm also beginning to wonder if there is something I am doing wrong in CCESP3 - I ran the M2V from this through a player, and it was awful. Same M2V file in my DAW worked fine, but on the DVD it was hopelessly glitched. I took the same master, and encoded through PPro's built-in encoder (not the AME...

Re: Can DLP work with 24p files in NTSC projects?

Thanks Vapymid.
I'm having trouble on playback though - very jerky & flickery, almost like field order issues but not quite.
Tried on a couple of players - same results with both 3-2 and 2-3 variants.
Is there something I need to set up in DLP?
