Re: DVD Limits

The DVD specs allow for up to 99 VTS with up to 99 titles per VTS. However, you will not get close to this in DLP, sadly, as there is a bug that stops compiling after no more than 7 VTS if you are lucky. I do not know if this also applies on a 64-bit system, as it is caused (blamed on) a memory limi...

Re: Compile: Out of Memory Issue

I have tried to compile my project but receive the out of memory statement and I cannot complete the task. I have freed up the memory and also closed all objects in the Window menu. I am building a mega project of songs by years (1950 - 1959). Each menu is a graphic a song with link buttons forward...

Re: DVD-Lab background music with motion menus

Hi Is there a way to have background music play continuously while there are motion menus? At the moment my motion menus run for 20s and once finished it restarts the background music. Is there a way around this? Thanks in advance. Jon The short answer here is "no". The long answer is that DVD-Vide...

Re: Final project is slightly out of focus

I get the same problems too. What is a perfect bitmap on import gets very soft focus look after compile. Transitions are flawless (source is a 10-bit 4.2.2 MOV file rendered with CCE-SP3) and the text & imagery is crisp & clean. However, the bitmaps are a disaster. It really is bad - could it be bec...

Re: Hyperlink

You used to be able to do this with Sonic's eDVD, but this has long since been discontinued as it was simply unreliable.
It's not possible to do this.

Re: Does DVD LP "normalize" volume when compiling?

A word of caution is necessary here. NEVER, EVER do volume levelling with any form of normalization. Not only is it adding an unnecessary layer of DSP, complete with all the quantization distortions & related issues, but it is also inaccurate. The only way to judge relative loudness is with your ear...

Audio-Only title - marks (chapters) not accurate

What timecode is used for the marks in an audio only title? I know we discussed this in the old forums, but I cannot find any references in my notes. All I know is that the longer the timeline, the worse it gets and is often well, well out by a matter of several seconds. Secondly, is there a way to ...

Re: Where are the patches kept these days?

The latest, really.
Not sure what that was - I have the PS build, of course, and t'other one is 2.5.1

Reason I ask is that I thought there was a build that got rid of the Audio only title bug, where no cells are set seamless despite contiguous audio files being used.
