Photoblend and RAW (or TIF) files ???

Post by JPS »

Hi ! I'm just trying Photoblend and soon noticed that it doesn't seem to accept RAW or TIF files..... Is this normal or am I missing something !

As I only shoot RAW, then convert to TIF, to keep the best of it, I only convert to JPG at the end of the post-process, before to send it on some Internet forums !

Can someone help ?

TIA,
J-P.

Hello! TIff files you can load, when loading backdrop image - using option <Load manually>. Then files with extension *.tif appears by browsing. The same for source images. RAW files (for me - Canons CR2) loads also so, using <load manually>, only in dialog window don't use option <All supported image files> , but <All files> ... then CR2 loads, but unfortunately only rotated by 180 degr. Regards, el.

Photoblend and RAW or TIF files

Post by Aaronmow »

Windows 10 Pro

I've just saved a file from a few years back from Capture One as a TIFF - using my normal output settings.

The files saved are opening in Camera RAW and not in a normal CS6 window.

AFAIK, I've changed nothing.

If I right-click on a file, under Properties, it says .tif.

The files were shot on a Canon G9.

Why is this happening?

Thanks.

D.

under Win7/64bit

Opening with "All Files *.*", not "All Supported Image Files"!
i save under "File", "Export Full Resolution", file type (Dateityp) and then PNG or TIFF. Testing with RAW from Canon (CR2).
save as tiff.jpg
save as tiff.jpg (75.85 KiB) Viewed 4162 times
All my edited photos are photographs by me.
