Does that means we can dap an image then 'transfer' the colour values from the input image (so coloiur changes are erased and returned to being as the input image but keeping brush strokes?

NICE!

smmsamm - NOT picking ion you, genuinely interested... but what use is a transparent canvas? Edumacate me!!
It is like having a little photoshop layers right there in DAP, so you can simply add input image as a layer with HUE blending mode and the result will have hue of the input images but saturation and the lightness of painted image.

There are actually many pretty neat tricks you can do. For example I like this for a watercolor type of images, which makes it more "watercolory" by mixing various layers different way than default, even using masking.

Here it is larger.

Very cool stuff for DAP 4 Oscar. Being able to use colored/textured canvases is also a huge plus and also layers is fantastic news. Exported the layers as a PS file is fine as well since GIMP can read simple layer PS files. :)

Dear oscar,
would you please add more options in Advanced AOP Settings Grid x,y for putting blocks,
I want it puts best strokes in every 750x750 pixel of canvas, Now I can not put any values in x,y and it converts to default

thank you

Could we hope for 32 bit?

Actually, what are the system requirements for this version?

I can release the PRO as 32 bit as well, but it may easily run out of memory, there is a lot of stuff now in.
I am actually developing in 32 bit version then compile to 64 bit for release so it does work as 32 bit for sure. May just not create the biggest size of output.
The system req. is same as for current x64 pro.

Dear Oscar,
Now you are working on vector outlines,
Ok it is very good, I think at first you trace base image and at the end you draw the outline traced on the last result,
do you have any idea about tracing each strokes too?
now for painting a line dap strokes any brushes that match the base color and put many strokes together to make a line but if you can trace each brush before putting on canvas dap will make a line only with straight shape strokes and for curves use curved shape strokes to make it,
or you can get us 3 files in aop color, alpha and outline and for each painting we can load an image and an alpha image for outlines too.
it is very easy for human eyes to detect the outlines and we can give these ourselves.
