Post by tartine78 »

Hello,

Can somebody tell me where is the "Remove Unwanted Parts tool" that was in DAP2.6 ?

it says:
"This tool is in menu Mask because it uses painted mask, but it is used for adjusting of the input image.
Remove Unwanted Parts will paint over marked small undesired parts of the image (such as people in
background, cars, wires) with a colors from surrounded areas (specified by a rectangle)."

but I can' find the tool in DAP5

Thanks Peter for the link
I was thinking i found a way to overcome this
allowing us to remove unwanted objects without leaving DAP5

here is how:

1. Open your source image

2. go to retouch tab
retouch tab in DAP5
retouch tab in DAP5
dap retouch tab.png (3.03 KiB) Viewed 1578 times
3. click on "input photo brush (prep)

4. use the best settings to recover all your canvas

be sure to change the setting to 100% opacity

5. Now you hav access to your "source image" on full canvas

6. You can now use the clone tool
to remove unwanted objects

7. now that retouch is done you can click on "apply"

8. Go to "painter" tab
9. uncheck "clear canvas on start"

10. you can now begin the dap process as usual.
