Stopping painting early

Post by shoremedia »

Hi, How would I go about stopping a painting at the exact phase on screen without further processing, say I stopped at the same time as the attached image for instance? It always seems to do further processing which is not desired in this scenario, Thanks

In general, select the leftmost position at "Less Time" for Detail Brushes.

In earlier DAP versions (I only know up to v3), you could disable the Dry Reveal phase for "enhanced realism" in the "Advanced" tab; I believe someone reported this option not anymore available in latest versions, here you may have to create a copy of your favourite template with Dry Reveal disabled (and a new title).

Hi, Thanks, it seems allot more of what I need is available in V3... I have v5, seems a bit strange to have to downgrade to get these functions, I can't pay for a earlier version so I'm lost on what to do really... Thanks anyway

You can download older versions of DAP from the DAP download page.. I don't know if your DAP 5 registration code will work. If it doesn't I think if you ask nicely the author may make it happen.
