Threshold effect created using RD

I'm not sure what most people may use the threshold effect for. In Photoshop it's an easy process...select the filter, the window appears, then simply move the slider to the desired effect. In Realdraw, this can be duplicated with just a few extra steps. The first image shows threshold applied to a pic in Photoshop.

The next three images show threshold applied in Realdraw Pro.

In RD, the first step is selecting the 3 colors effect in bitmap tweak dialog box. It's important to give the red/green/blue channels the same value (in this example 120 was chosen for each). You may need to play with it a bit to get the right amount of "detail". The result looks like a negative image.

Step two. Select the 3 colors effect again. This time you can leave the sliders at their default settings. A little red & yellow is present along with the black (that won't appear in the resulting effect). The image has also flipped to a positive with color dropped put.

The resulting image looks just as good as what photoshop offers.
