Pencil Tool - Fill

Hello all,

I want to use the pencil tool to just create an outline, no fill. I select a solid outline, and then when I turn up the transparency to lose the fill, the outline goes away too.

How do I just keep the outline?

Try this method, not a good as an unfilled mode.

As the pencil tool auto fills when you close it, you have to open it again.

And this is the reasonably good bit, it does leave a gap as the two points remain over each other.

So close the trace as normal then break it from the menu or alt-b

Yes it's open and will pull apart but looks closed.
